  • The Self Monitor Usage Patterns are part of the extended use stage of the customer experience.

Use these patterns to support your customers in monitoring wether they actually use a product.

The first Self Monitor Usage Pattern invites the customer to check wether he could resell 5 products. He is triggered by the financial incentive behind this and goes for the check.

If he does not use a product at all, the next activity is reselling. If he uses it once a month, both reselling and keeping it is an option. Also, with a little mix and match, he might use it even more often. If he uses it once a week, he certainly keeps it and proceeds to the next product.

  • We own a lot of products we do not use anymore, but weeding them out takes time and is annoying.

  • Weeding out unused products while they still are in good condition and returning them to the cycle for reuse is the best way to preserve their value.
