• Pattern description

  The „Discount for Learning“ pattern is part of the purchase stage of the customer experience.

  Before proceeding to check out, a biodegradable packaging is added to ths shopping cart of the customer with additional costs. But he can get it for free, if he learns how to dispose it.

  On click, he is guided through a tutorial that can be a simple text or like in this case a short video. After the tutorial, he has to follow a short quiz to make sure he paid attention. After checking the right answer, the packaging is added for free, and the customer can proceed to check out.

  To reduce waste, biodegradable packaging and other alternative packaging types need to be disposed or treated properly.

  Biodegradable packaging reduces waste and is regenerative.
