  • The Hide Pattern is a behavioral design pattern that is used in several patterns across all stages of the customer experience.

Use this pattern to make options that you want customers not to choose less visible than more circular decisions you prefer them to take.

In the registration process of the product, the button to proceed with circular mode is very prominent and seems to be the natural next best activity.

The option to proceed without circular mode is available, but less visible.

  • Circular services are unfamiliar to customers.

  • By making circular services look like the natural choice, more customers will accept and use them.
