• Pattern description

  The Product Value Slider Pattern is used in several patterns across all stages of the customer experience.

  It is part of the value patterns in this library. The library aims to preserve the planet. But the patterns of the library aim to preserve the value of products, as this is what customers are more likely to act on.

  The Product Value Slider works like any slider, for example a slider to adjust the volume of sound in a music app.

  The slider is best for properties that are not precisely quantified, like the overall look of a product. A symbol like the plant icon helps the customer as a reference to what is meant by good or poor shape.Dependent on this and other indicators, the customer can be better advised on the next actions to take.

• Problem to be solved

  When there is not sensor or simulated data on the condition of a product, the customer has to indicate it himself.

• Circular benefits

  The condition of a product is an important indicator for actions to take to keep the product in use or return it to the cycle.
